but unfortunately blogspot would NOT let me do it, and thus it be written today.

Yesterday was yet another opportunity for a TODAY IN GRAD SCHOOL! opportunity.

Today in grad school I did several relay races. First we did a creativity relay race. Second we did a relay race that required the runner to hold a tennis ball between the knees and run that way. It was terribly hard and I ended up hopping back to the finish line. #3 We had to run with a partner with a balloon held between our heads, then we had to tie ourselves to a friend, then we had to blindfold one. Great fun was had by all and lots and LOTS of candy was given out.

Then we all made matching games. This was a very good opportunity to showcase the creativity of the class. Let me just give you one example:

See, the point of the game was to have 10 images paired with 10 descriptions or riddles. Then we were to swap with another team and play their game. It was quite a hit.

After class I rode home - like the wind - and was just about to sit down to dinner when...

BBRRRRRRRING!!!!! (actually it was more like bzzzzzz bzzzzzzzzz bzzzzzzzzzz) goes my phone. And there on the other end were the two Amys. The two Amy's informed me that the OT friends I left behind on my bike did NOT go home, but actually were still on campus. Would I like to go out for a drink? Well of course I would! So I shovel down delicious dinner and pedal pedal pedal on over to The Garage, a small German pubish thing to celebrate the birthday of Miss Diana.

Here is Diana eating her GIANT German birthday burger. (That's like a double alliteration)

These people were also there to celebrate:

Amy M. and Rene

Gaylene and Diana

Diana's Twin: Diana 2 and Fernando

Kim and Amy H.

Me and Amy M.'s twin: Amy M. 2

Fun was had by most everyone except perhaps poor Kim and Amy H. who ordered a bit too much greasy German food and felt compelled to eat vegetables.

TODAY Bridget and I went on a little adventure. We knew exactly where we were but the place we were looking for was lost for a very long time. After we found it an hour after we set out we just had to reward ourselves with a bit of dim sum.

DIM

SUM!!

Tonight is Evester's 21st birthday party and I have much to do before then, so I'm out --

  1. Brrrrrring! Remember when your phone was on vibrate on the floor upstairs and we couldn't hear it through the ceiling downstairs? Maybe I wasn't there. I think I was actually the person calling.

  3. Hey! I got no call! And yes, you were the person calling. And it was great!
