~I'm likin sum dim sum~

Dear Friends,

Today I headed out early in order to acquire some dim sum. The thing I most wanted to obtain was delicious egg custard (or eggy custard if you're in my family). Observe the deliciousness:

But I also appreciate red bean sesame balls:

and sticky rice:

Now I am making myself hungry. To continue, I went early because I figure that was the time I could score the freshest and most abundant array of dim sum (Read: eggy custard) but was informed that eggy custard does not come out until 11am and it was indeed merely 9:30 am. Point: If I want eggy custard, please travel for dim sum after 11am.

In other news: Grad school is going FANTASTICLY. In addition to learning all I get to do to help people out as an occupational therapist, I also get to do kool kat things such as finger paint:

Note my artistic creativity

and teach an entire class how to make slime as if they were 4-6 year olds. That's only the befogging! (that word was supposed to be 'beginning' but it mysteriously has morphed. I'll leave it) Since school has begun, I have rolled around on a classroom floor with my peers, practiced putting on pants without the use of my legs, rolled around in wheel chairs, made play dough, been completely aghast at the craziness of one particular teacher as week after week she fails to tel us very important things such as material we are to be tested on and of course gone rock climbing.

Tonight I will join my fabulous roommates in a viewing of Whip It! and am EXCITED!

I think that is all for now, in the mean time I will leave you with this lobster baby

  1. You have to tell me how Whip It is! I'm jealous. You make grad school sound like way too much fun.
