How we ended up in Christmas Towne

Dear Friends,

Sometimes adventures are inevitable. Things happen you just cannot control, but fortunately this is sometimes for a very good reason.

There we were, Eve, Bridget and I, driving home on Highway 17 from Santa Cruz and off to the right, straight ahead - was the road to Christmas Towne. We all knew we were going before it happened. We were supposed to keep going on the 17, but Bridget made the car face towards the on ramp to Christmas Towne. She began to scream before we even hit the ramp. She could have turned away, but some force did not let her.

"Bridget!! Why are you driving toward Christmas Towne?! This is not correct!"
Also notice the Christmasy attire all 3 of us happened to be wearing

So into Christmas Towne we rode. The lights were all on and strung. The trees were green and I'm sure Christmas carols must have been playing. The point is, dear friends, that on this fateful night Eve, Bridget and I ended up in Christmas Towne. And it was glorious.

In other news, I must share the delicious artichokes I grilled last night. Olga and James came over for dinner and we all had a nice evening over skype with Mista Nathan Peterson and my parents. Here are those artichokes:

Other things that happened tonight included going to Saturn Cafe in Santa Cruz for Emily's belated birthday. I enjoyed a fried egg (not a friend egg) sandwich and some french toast. The night included a Meer Kat moment.

Before dinner time, Jonathan and I decided now was a good time to smash open the glass christmas ornaments we filled with liquid acrylic this weekend. And so we did. With fury!

Hammer!

Smash!

Ooooh, look at my little head!

perfect (almost) little spheres.

After Jonathan, Emily and I sanded the little nubs off the tops of the spheres Jonathan contact juggled them and all was well at Beauty Palace

I leave you here with my friend, Robbie. Enjoy him greatly.
